Invoicing and Billing
Invoicing and billing is based on labour-hours (also known as “man-hours”).
The amount of time a cleaning team is on-site, multiplied by the number of cleaners on the team, gives you the number of labour-hours.
Example: A team of 3 cleaners on-site for 1 hour is 3 labour-hours.
Your invoice will be for 3 labour-hours; 3 x hourly rate + HST
Our teams arrive ready to clean and disinfect with all supplies and equipment needed to do the job. Cleaning time starts when the team begins unloading the vehicle and ends when the team is finished reloading.
Booking Your Time Slot
A credit card is required on file to complete your booking. Deposit fee is $100 and is billed at that time.
After the cleaning has been completed the credit card is charged with the deposit amount being applied towards the bill. A receipt is emailed to you immediately.
Arrival Time of Your Cleaning Team
Our schedules are dynamic and can change during the course of a day due to circumstances beyond our control such as traffic and last minute cancellations.
For this reason we cannot guarantee a specific arrival time for the cleaning team
If you would like a specific arrival time you can request the 1st booking. Your team will arrive between 8:15 – 8:30 am.
You will receive an “On the way” text or email prior to the team’s arrival at your home.

Cancellation Fees
For One-Time Bookings:
2 business days or more notice of cancellation is required for One-Time booking. Otherwise, a $100 cancellation fee is applied.
Note: Deposits can be transferred to a different day if we are notified 2 business days or more in advance of the original cleaning date scheduled. Otherwise, the deposit becomes a cancellation fee; no exceptions
For Recurring Bookings:
2 business days or more notice of cancellation is required for Recurring bookings. Otherwise, $50 cancellation fee is applied.
Notes:
- If the cleaners arrive and are locked out unable to do the job a cancellation fee will be charged.
- “Business days” are Monday through Friday and do not include Saturday and Sunday.
- If the driveway or sidewalk to your home is impassable due to uncleared snow or other impediments this is effectively a cancelled appointment without notice and a cancellation fee will be charged.
- If the team arrives but is asked to wait for any reason before beginning their work, billing time applies to waiting time.
Important Information Regarding One-Time Bookings
For One-Time cleanings we estimate a specific number of hours for the service based on information provided by the customer and what we normally experience.
One-Time cleanings are TIMED and billed accordingly. If the team completes your service in less than the estimated time, you will only be charged for the time required to complete the job. We bill in 15 minutes (.25) increments.
Should the team require MORE than the estimated time:
We will call you during the service at the number you provided at time of booking. It is very important that we are able to reach you as your cleaning is taking place.
- If the team requires additional time and we cannot reach you at the number provided, we will assume all additional time has been approved, unless you have informed us otherwise.
- If the team requires additional time but this is not approved (I.e. a CAP on the number of hours is requested), a list of tasks in priority will need to be provided. When the CAP has been reached the team will exit. The tasks at the end of the list will not be completed.
Reminder: Time on-site, multiplied by the number of cleaners on the team, will give you your cleaning hours. Eg. A team of 3 cleaners on-site for 5 hours is a 15-hour cleaning
Notice Regarding Post Construction/Renovation, Move-In/Out Cleanings:
If an area to be cleaned is not free of all items such as building supplies, boxes, furniture, garbage or people who are still working such as movers or carpenters, the amount of cleaning time needed will increase.
Notice Regarding Oven Cleaning:
If you wish to have your oven cleaned we are happy to take care of this task. One of two things must be done in advance of our arrival:
- Run the “self-cleaning” feature allowing enough time for the oven to cool.
- Spray the oven liberally with “oven cleaner” the night before following the instructions on the product.
